BPH treatment: 59 y m with BPH & tamsulosin. Depending on the size & complications your urologist can give best option.Minimal invasive procedures are microwave, laser, needle ablation. Then turp, nerve sparing prostatectomy, incision prostate. The later two preserve erection & ejaculation. Turp is 90% done &5% retrograde ejaculation rate. Again size & complications determine the choice of procedure. Thanks.

BPH surgery: For benign prostatic enlargement, TURP has the highest rate. Tumt, tuna and laser ablation have somewhat lower incidence. Ejaculatory dysfunction is possible with any BPH surgical treatment though.
