Sinusitis: Hello, sinusitis is a condition of inflammation of the lining in the sinus cavities. The most common reason is infectious. Any infection can lead to sepsis. Fortunately, medical care in the us is widely available so sepsis is rare but still present. Especially in people who are at increased risk for infection. Like those who are immunocompromised. Sepsis is most commonly treated in a hospital.
