Does a normal color doppler ultrasound completely rule out testicular ischemia and testicular abscess?

Pretty Much: Certainly there should not be an abscess. Some patients will suffer from intermittent testicular torsion so it is possible for the scan to be normal but flow to be compromised at other times. The trick is to scanned when you are symptomatic.
