Brains: Yes. Of course. The anatomy of the brain (which the MRI can examine) is not abnormal in schizophrenia.

Yes : Schizophrenia is not generally diagnosed with mri. There are some research studies out there that are looking for a correlation between early diagnosis of schizophrenia in mri. If you are 30, it is unusual but not impossible to be diagnosed now. Tell your doctors you don't understand what's going on and would like help. Don't stop taking your meds. Best wishes.
