I have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia years ago, but my recent mri shows normal, could i really have schizophrenia or is it something else?

Symptoms change: I would recommend a reevaluation if you're uncertain. Just because you were diagnosed years ago, doesn't mean the symptoms or disorder hasn't changed. Perhaps it is in a remitted state. Perhaps you have learned to manage symptoms so well they are no longer troubling you. Reevaluations in psych are quite common and part of the process in treatment. Good luck.

Limits of MRI: Current technology does not allow the use of MRI to confirm the diagnosis of schizophrenia.
