Talk to the hospital: You, or your lawyer, will have to request these documents from the hospital. The hospital has some requirements with regards to privacy and so you will probably need to use a lawyer to get them. You could also ask your anesthesiologist to discuss any issues that happened in the immediate post-operative period.
