Yes and to see MD: Yes, he should stop drinking and more importantly to go to see his doctor to find out why all of his blood counts are low. Some conditions like bone marrow problem or liver problem with enlargement of spleen- etc can be the explanation. Continue to drink alcohol may make it worse.
