Often: Get an exam with an eye md to identify the cause. Poor diet can be helped by better nutrition. Some conditions can be helped by surgery or injections, like diabetic retinopathy and cataract. Glasses, contact lenses, and lasik surgery can help with refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. While some eyes have been too badly damaged to help, most eyes can be helped.

Not likely: "weak eye sight" is usually considered when you need glasses and is not very accurate. If you need glasses is because of the shape of the eye and not necessarily weak eye. Talk to your doc about it.
