A 36-year-old member asked:

Is there a way to improve your eye sight naturally?

Not usually: Some patients benefit from supplements such as billberry or eyebright, and mild eye exercises can improve accomodation, but generally when you need glasses to see, it is best to have a proper eye exam and start to use your glasses or contact lenses to see well. If you have a tear film problem, then flax seed oil or fish oil supplements can help improve the eyesight.

No: There are no known ways to do this.
A 40-year-old member asked:

How can you improve your eye sight naturally?

Dr. Richard Bensinger
Ophthalmology 52 years experience
Probably not: Unless you have some treatable eye disease which lowers the sight and will improve with treatment then there is no natural agent that will help vision meaningfully. Herbals such as eyebright and bilberry are promoted by naturopaths as vision aids, but have not been proven to actually work. Eye exercises can be done, but these have not been proven. See your ophthalmologist for the best advice.

Could you tell me what's the best way to improve my eye sight?

Eyeglasses, contacts: I am sure that you are aware that contacts and lasik surgery are options. You probably want to know if there are dietary or exercise means to improve the vision. However, these will not work. Discuss this with your ophthalmologist. At your age you might also need correction for near vision.
A 30-year-old member asked:

Is there a way to improve eye sight without surgery?

Dr. Federico Mattioli
LASIK Surgery 25 years experience
Depends on cause: Obvious ways without surgery are contacts and glasses. Importantly, be sure nutritional conditions are met. Common reasons for blurry vision include dryness and some medications. "lazy eye" (amblyopia) generally can not be improved once a person is older than about 10 years of age.
