Pigmented scars: Small patchy burn scars on the thigh that you describe were likely due to a scald burn. They are flat but brown/red at 10 months post injury implies that you have not used any scar care creams or sunblock. It is harder to clear pigment in and around a scar but this can be improved with topical creams and broad band light therapy.
