If someone with a food allergy has a bone marrow transplant, can it cure them of their allergy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergy & transplant: When a patient receives an allogeneic (meaning from someone else) bone marrow or stem cell transplant, they not only get new blood counts they get a new immune system. They will lose old allergies (but may gain the allergic problems of the donor).
