No immediate concern: An enlarged and tender lymph node is usually a reaction to an infection distal or below the node. In your case you may have had an infection in your foot. Treat the node with warm compresses and take the anti-inflammatory of your choice for symptomatic relief. The swelling and pain should resolve within two or three weeks.

Do not worry: An ultrasound is the gold standard for evaluation of a clot from the groin to below the knee. Since it did not show dvt, you do not have any clots which would have been a worry. A popliteal lymph could very well be a normal finding and could also be the result of any inflammation in your leg. Follow up with your md.
