A member asked:

Would an elevated hematocrit/hemoglobin (51-54%) cause tachycardia and palpitations? cause of elevation unknown, jak2 negative. not dehydrated.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doubtful.: Also not far from normal h/h for a young adult male. Living at a high altitude (over 2000 meters) can also produce high hct/hgb.
