Can arthritis cause a burning sensation with pain in both knees?

Yes: If you have knee pain at age 28 it needs to be evaluated. See an orthopedist or rheumatologist.

Yes it can: Unless you have sustained a traumatic injury to your knee, it is unlikely that you have arthritis at your age. Arthritis can cause burning but injures to the tendons, ligaments, and meniscus can also. Go see your local knee specialist for an evaluation. Good luck!
