Oral ulcers: What type of ulcers? Herpetic or aphthous? Canker sores/aphthous ulcers signify no reason to worry, not transmitted sexually/not contagious. Hsv type 1 or 2 which form vesicles that coalesce and the blister sloughs to leave denuded area and eventual scab. Identify the type of sore first before worrying.

Oral abrasions.: Give it a few more days to heal. We this often in dentistry. High-speed friction on soft tissues can cause injury and irritation. In your case a wedding ring or a badge of honor might be in order.
