Pain reief, see stone: Reief comes when a painful kidney stone is no longer obstructing & has likely reached the bladder. Stones small enough to reach bladder, usually 6mm or smaller are then small enough to exit when you urinate. Often can be felt passing thru urethra. It can be caught if you filter your urine or can be seen in toilet bowl. It will be small, often only 2-4 mm in diam., even if it felt like a rock.
