This too will pass: Since you are breathing normally it means that you swallowed the nti. Watch for it to pass in a few days. Let your dentist know what happened and discuss having the nti replaced with a more traditional nightguard.

NTI swallowed?: Contact your dentist immediately. If you were my patient I would advise you to get an immediate consult with your own physician or ER of Hospital. He\she will decide whether or not to get some imaging to determine where it is located, and to ensure that it will pass without any complications. They usually recommend a high fiber bulk diet and daily monitoring of your feces.

Ear: Don't wait. Go now. Greatest risk is aspiration. And once this is resolved have your Dentist make you a non-swallow able mouth guard.

See your physician: The size of the NTI mouth guard you are describing may have difficultly passing your gastrointestinal system. You should see your physician so that they can refer you to have a chest an abdominal x-ray to see where the mouth guard is.
