No: Current approach is to immunize all teenagers to prevent the spread of hpv .The disease may cause penile, anal and throat cancer in men and is the cause of cervical cancer in women. Hpv is a sexually transmitted disease and it is estimated that 70% of these cancers will disappear with vaccination.
