Lumbar strain: It is likely that you have strained your lower back. This occurs as a result stretching the ligaments and muscles of your spine beyond their limit causing acute pain. Treatment should consist of icing for the first 72 hours at 4-6 hour intervals when awake, using anti- inflammatory meds, avoidance of heavy lifting, bending, and squatting.. Physical therapy can also be recommended. Good luck!
