If one had lung cancer symptoms. would it show on an x-ray and bloods. ?

Hmm: May show on a chest x ray but usually not if very early (remember x rays are not good screening tests for lung cancer). Less likely to show in lab work except in advanced cases in which elevations of bone or liver enzymes or electrolyte disbalances can be seen. A ct is more likely to see it. Best to you.

It might--or not: Advanced lung cancer would show on x-ray. Earlier cancers are better seen with ct scans. If you have been a heavy smoker for 15 or more years, your risk is certainly much higher of a cancer than a non-smoker. Non-smoking related cancers occur, but usually in much older individuals.
