Yes: First off congratulations on getting sober. Yes, there are dentists that perform full mouth reconstruction. Although it is not a specialty, a dentist who performs such a task should have experience with the procedure. I would have to see the extent of the damage to determine what you need. I would show you before and after photos of other patients that I have treated.Good luck in your search.

No specialist: There are no specialists in cosmetic dentistry. But you can check on how committed and serious your dentist is with credentialing him or herself. There are fellowships, masterships, accreditations your dentist can achieve, and equipment, options, staying up with technology, continuing education are all super important for your full mouth rehab.

Yes: Working with full mouth reconstruction is an art as well as a science. Reconstructing lost form and function takes expert training. If you have lost your vertical dimension of occlusion (height of your teeth) you will need a neuromuscular dentist to help restore you best, imo.

Sedation dentistry: You may want to consider sedation dentistry, where you can possibly be medicated (not put out entirely,) and have as much dentistry as possible done in less appointments and you would be more relaxed. Get more than one opinion, with treatment options. Congrats on being sober!!!
