Yes, but: Use zaditor (ketotifen) instead. It's longer lasting.

Allergies: If the eyes are not painful and slightly red the most likely cause is an allergic or local reaction to an irritant such as dust. Genlty rinse the eyes with ocular saline and if the problem is associated with other symptoms, or if the problem persists, please see your Pediatrician soon. Additional measures include avoidance of dust, chlorine and smoke.
