Cherry angiomas: It sounds like you're describing cherry angiomas. These are extremely common little collections of blood vessels that you get more of over time. They are in no way harmful. However, if you notice any moles that have multiple colors or are changing in size and shape, he should be evaluated by a dermatologist.
