is early puberty associated with early menopause?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Andrea Moore

Not necessarily: Early puberty signals the onset of sexual organ maturation sooner than the average age. While this can occur, it does not necessarily mean that menopause will occur sooner. The number of reproductive years reported is an average, as every woman is different.
