Probably: If this is your second, or more pregnancy, you may be experiencing what are termed 'braxton-hicks' contractions - sort of a practice contraction of the experienced uterus. If there is no discharge from the vagina, and these are short term (although sometimes rather uncomfortable) then you can experience them throughout the pregnancy and they are not a problems.
