Probably not: The lh surge is the trigger for ovulation, if you do not ovulate you cannot conceive. If you are testing for the lh surge and your test is negative, be patient as those tests can miss the lh surge over 33% of the time. So just because the predictor was negative doesn't mean the lh surge did not occur and you still could ovulate and conceive.
