Yes: It should be fairly safe. Most common side effects are somnolence, fatigue, and dry mouth. Of course, just like other medications, Cetirizine has rare side effects (tremor, ataxia, twitching, etc.) if you are taking anti epileptic medications, make sure you check with your doctor if this can interact with cetirizine. However, Cetirizine alone is not known to lower seizure threshold.
