Can a cillian allergic person take keflex?

Usually : Recent studies have found that a majority of people who are allergic to penicillin can tolerate cephalosporin (of which Keflex is one) and particularly the 3rd generation one. However if you have had an anaphylactic reaction to penicillin, you should check with your allergist before you considering taking any cephalosporin. The risk is very low but it is better to be safe than sorry.
