A member asked:

Can a person become allergic to any of the natural bacteria colonizing his skin, nose, or bowels, so that he has permanent allergy symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Natural bacteria are just that' natural' they coexist with body. When immunity( bodys fighting ability)is down they can cause infections. Allergies are seasonal or due to exposure to " allergens" in the environment and sometimes food.Gut natural bacteria can cause diarrhea in some people after antibiotic use.
