Is drixoral a prescription drug, or is it sold over the counter? is there a non-prescription drug which will have the same results as drixoral?

Decongestant-antihis: This and other otcs for treating congestion have had a bit of a shadow cast over them the past few years because of concerns about the stimulant decongestants like pseudoephedrine(used in meth labs)and phenylephrine. Lean towards nonsedating antihistamines if you can.

It is OTC: It is a combination of two medicines..Pseudoephedrine (decongestant) and dexbropheniramine (antihistamine), common ingredients in many of the otc cold/allergies medications. If you read the labels, you will find that many otc have similar combo decong/antihis for cold/allergies...So, try some to see if it will help. If not, consult your doc... Good luck.
