Yes: For a fresh ivf cycle, if you are not pregnant, then yes you will get a period once you stop your medications. Normally, the HCG made by an embryo will continue to stimulate the ovaries to make estrogen and progesterone. If you stop your meds during an ivf cycle, the ovary will not make any and thus the lining will not be supported. Thus, you will get a period within 4-7d of discontinuation.
