LBW: Smoking can cause low birth weight and other forms of birth defect. Not sure if there is any correlation for autism.

No direct link but..: Smoking while pregnant has been known to present potential risks to the baby. Anything that poses a potential risk to a developing fetus can adversely influence the outcome for the baby. The extent of the damage will depend on duration of the exposure and stage of development of the fetus at the exposure.
