Depends: While many people prefer Loratadine and it works just fine, others find more relief with cetirizine. It is difficulty to know who will respond better to one or the other.

You shouldn't: Both medications are in the same class called non-sedating antihistamines and are effective for 24 hours. They should not be taken at the same time.
