ANTIHISTAMINE: Discuss with the pharmacist. All of them are otc now. Better idea is to find out if u are allergic to chlorine or something else. If it is chlorine, try non-chlorine alternatives available.

Antihistamine: In rare cases, people can develop hives after their skin contacts water, or exposed to cold temperature. If you develop hives after each swimming, try taking a claritin, (loratadine) allegra, or zyrtec 30 min before swimming. If u forget to take them before and develop hives, these antihistamines will also help then.
