Spider bites: Sometimes spider bites will look very dark black or blue/purple. There are only 2 types of poisonous spiders in north america- the black widow and brown recluse. They usually cause flu like symptoms and severe pain. Most spiders are not dangerous, but keep the area clean to prevent infection.
