A member asked:

What kind of insects leave a bite with 2 black dots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Impossible to tell: I'm sorry to say that it is impossible to accurately tell the type of insect (or spider) from the appearance of the puncture. The only accurate way is to capture the specimen and take it to your local county vector control department or a university that has an entomologist on staff. Sorry!
