Usually not: Goiters usually grow out, not in, and do not affect vocal cords, trachea, or esophagus. Sometimes, big nodular goiters in the elderly can do this, but not usually. However, if the goiter is producing either hyper or hypothyroidism, that can certainly affect the vocal cords. Hypothyroidism could turn you from an alto into a tenor.... Or more.
