Eye burn: Powder or any other foreign substance that gets in the eye will cause a superficial burn to the eye surface. Fortunately, baby powder is very mild and will not cause any major problems. The best thing to do is try to use an artificial tear drop several times a day if you are able to put drops in the affected eye. This will help make the eye feel better more quickly.

Baby powder: In general we dont recommend the use of baby powder for babies, because not only can the powder get into the baby's eyes, it can get into the lungs and cause coughing or even pneumonia.
