A member asked:

I have breakthrough bleeding on birth control pills. it's annoying. how can i fix?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Change pills: I would recommend your taking a pill for 2 1/2 cycles. If you have breakthrough bleeding after that, i would talk to your dr. The pills have the same estrogen in differing amounts and either the same progestin in different amounts or a different progestin. Changing these components should stop your bleeding within 3 cycles.
