A member asked:

Can breakthrough bleeding mean birth control pills are not strong enough?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Usually breakthrough bleeding means the hormones aren't in balance with the uterus yet, either because it was the first month on the pill, or the person missed pills, or the hormone formulation isn't right for her.
