Yes: From something as simple as being a bit tired to more serious complications of excessive fluids and difficulty breathing as well as accumulation of waste products that can lead to some really serious medical complications. Skipping dialysis is simply put, not a real wise choice. Please, please, please discuss this with your doctor and get all of the facts.

Not advised: Normal kidneys filter the blood every second. Patients on dialysis are filtered for 4 hours three times a week. Missing a treatment is not in your interests. Patients are at risk for volume overload and hyperkalemia if they go 5 days without dialysis.
