Possibly: Rephresh keeps the vagina acidic. When the vagina becomes alkaline certain organisms become predominant. The resulting discharge is called BV. Blood in the vagina causes it to be alkaline as does semen. Using rephresh after menses and after intercourse helps prevent this.
