Glass of Wine: Many medications will have warnings regarding alcohol consumption and statins are definitely included. They especially recommend baseline and regular liver enzymes test (hepatic) with regular consumption of alcohol. We sometimes misjudge the quantity of alcohol consumed in discussion with our physicians. Requesting hepatic enzymes test if concerned would seem appropriate.
