Air escape: If you attempt to express gas from your lower bowels by creating abdominal pressure, it is possible that you may end up expelling air the nearby vaginal cavity. If there is an actual passage open from the bowel to the vagina, this would be a serious condition with more severe symptoms. Consult your doctor for an exam if you have noticed feces or unusual discharge in your vagina.
