Bloody stool once a day since i stoped taking prednisone week ago then tried taking 2 a day hasent helped. i have ibd. what should i do?

Call gastro: You are pooping blood since you tapered prednisone. Sounds like an ibd flare. Now you need more immunosupression (perhaps Remicade (infliximab) or other biologic immune agent) to get the flare under control. Starting with 40-60mg Prednisone daily is a good start till you get to see your GI doc. You should contact the on call for better direction as they can look up your case and give better directed tx.
