Need exam: Is there any swelling? Does it hurt at rest? Any family history of arthritis? Do you play tennis? Does it respond to pain medicines. As you can tell it would be difficult to diagnose this online.

Sore elbow: It could be tennis elbow , gout , skin infection etc. Review with doctor would be helpful.
