Normally: This is just gas passing through your intestines. Normal digestion can be heard as a noisy stomach, or if you have increased gas or increased movement in your intestines, you can have increased noise.

Borborygmi: Borborygmi is a rumbling noise produced by the movement of gas through the intestines. As your stomach digests the food, and it travels thought you intestines, borborygmi is common.

Gases: Everyone has gases in their digestive system. Some foods will create more gas than others. Some people swallow more air- especially if they chew and eat their foods too quickly. Sometimes, if you are constipated and the stool is not moving along regularly, more gas will build up and cause pressure in your abdomen. Talk with your doctor if you are having pain or other symptoms.
