It can.: IBS in and of itself can cause loud stomach noises, due to spasms of the intestines. It is possible to have recurrent C. diff, but unless you develop recurrent diarrhea, It is unlikely to be the cause of the sounds. I would not be concerned unless you develop other symptoms. Good luck.
