Decongestant: Ear ache from cold may be from pressure - congestion resulting in increased pressure can be painful.

Earache: A cold can cause earache from pressure or from an infection. If caused by an infection it may need to be treated with an antibiotic. If caused by pressure then taking a decongestant, pain reliever, steam inhalation, saline nasal spray helps.
