Does getting a small cyst removed hurt?

Cyst Removal: I assume you are talking about a cyst under the skin somewhere. Yes, it hurts. But not badly. We use lidocaine to numb the area so you get a couple of shots with a small sharp needle. That is the only pain you feel. We then remove the cyst and sew up the skin. It will be sore for a few days.
